PHMX is collection of seven double sided digital prints of monochromatic animations and spiralling cycles of sequential images. Vinyl discs are used by the artists as a live visual performance tool inspired by early animation device that used a spinning disk of sequential images and the persistence of vision principle to create an illusion of motion. In addition to visual output an experimental software-based sound engine was created, which translates camera pixels to sound, which becomes mechanic to the extreme.
